Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority (GNA) is all set to discuss several important issues including backlease in its board meeting on November 18.

Among the prominent issues to be discussed in the meeting include population of farmers, paying them compensation at market rate, easing backlease norms, charging additional funds from old allottees and not to challenge the Allahabad verdict in the Supreme Court.

GNA Chairman and CEO Rama Raman held a meeting with the subordinate officers over the preparation for the board meeting.
The NCR Planning Board is also going to hold meeting in this regard on November 16 at Delhi. For this the GNA has held several rounds of meetings.

Uttar Pradesh sub division of the National Capital Planning Board has already approved the Greater Noida Master Plan 2021 and 2031. These proposals will be placed before the NCR Planning Board meeting on November 16.

The Board is yet to give its nod on the land use change carried out in Greater Noida for the last 4-year.

It is worth mentioning that Allahabad High Court has stopped the construction work here until the GNA gets approval from the Board.
