Greater Noida: Aiming to solve the pending issues with the farmers, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is all set to discuss a number of important proposals concerned with the villagers in its board meeting slated to take place on September2.

About one dozen population related proposals, including a few from Patwari village, are also expected to get clearance from the Board in this meeting.

There are altogether 124 villages which come under Greater Noida.

Till date,if farmers from one village migrate to another, they were deprived of their land in the earlier place. But the Authority has decided to bring a change in the draft of the proposal allowing the farmers to hold on to their lands irrespective of the change in place.

Also about 189 more villages which come under Dadri,Hapur and Gulawati of Bulandshar have been brought under Greater Noida.
