Greater Noida: In order to apprise the Allahabad High Court about the agreement it has reached with the villagers of Patwari over the new compensation package, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA)would submit a copy of the agreement in the court on August 12.

The hearing on the land acquisition issue is scheduled on August 17. Therefore, the authority is gearing up to submit an agreement’s copy before the hearing.

The GNIDA CEO Rama Raman convened a meeting of the Authority officials on Monday over the submission of copy.

The authority is hoping that all the farmers of Patwari village would agree to the agreement by Wednesday so that the agreement’s copy could easily be submitted to the high court without any delay.

The farmers of Patwadi village got ready for the deal after two-day long meetingh with the Authority. Greater Noida Authority made the official announcement about the deal on Saturday.

Earlier, an 11-member committee was set up under Resh Pal Yadav to negotiate with the Authority.

The committee gave its green signal to the deal on Friday night.

So far 19 petitions have been filed against the acquisition of land from Patwadi village. Other villages which have filed petition against the Authority are Tugalpur, Bisharkha, Milak Lachi, Sadullapur and Nithari among others.
