Last year, the Goa Board announced the 12th Class Results of Arts, Commerce and Science streams on 10 May 2015. Seeing the trend of previous years Goa Board results, it can easily be noticed that the pass percentage is increasing year by year. The previous year recorded the highest ever 88.10 pass percentage for the Goa Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exams. In 2015 exam, out of 15708 students who appeared for the crucial exam, 13838 passed. This was even higher than the 2014 Results. The pass percentage in March 2014 was 85.54%. 
In 2015 Goa Board exam, Girls outshone boys with 89.10% as against 83.77%; 21 higher secondary schools secure over 95% with nine schools repeating their impressive performance for the second consecutive year.
