The colourful doodle on the Google's search engine has flowers, tiny caterpillars and bumblebees that mark the onset of Spring.

When the cursor is put on the doodle, it reads “Navroz Mubarak.”

The Navroz festival is celebrated by Parsis, Kashmiris and Shia Muslims in the Indian subcontinent.

The day also marks the beginning of Chaitra Navratri, which commences the new year as per the Hindu mythological lunar calendar.
