New Delhi: Google has joined the celebrations of 64th Republic Day Celebration of India by doodling national symbols on the India home page as a mark of respect. The Google logo features our national animal tiger, national flower lotus and India Gate.

On this very auspicious date in January 1950, our constitution had come into effect.

This is the third doodle on the occasion of Republic Day featured on Google India’s homepage.

Last year, the Google doodle featured images of National Bravery Award winning children riding on the backs of three elephants decked in finery.

In 2010, the India Republic Day Google doodle depicted Republic Day action in the air with fighter aircraft decorating the sky with the Tricolour.

This special Republic Day of India Google doodle looks will be visible to users in India only.
