It is powered by Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, which is a 64-bit quad-core processor running at 2.3GHz. The device has 2 GB of RAM.

The device is in-built with Gorilla Glass 3 for extra protection of screen and dual BoomSound speakers for clear audio performance.

Google LTE Nexus 9 features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.6-megapixel front camera.

The tablet is backed with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and 6700 mAh battery.
