Google announced the latest iteration of its Android smartphone a couple of weeks ago. The phone is also listed on the Google Play Store India and a few popular eCommerce sites for preorder.

Built with precision, Nexus 5 delivers an intelligently simple design and showcases a stunning full HD display. While the hardware is solid, it's the Android 4.4 OS that is more compelling.

The Google-LG Nexus 5 phone is the first device to run on the latest version of Google's Android operating system, nicknamed after the KitKat candy bar.

The use of Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat makes it apparent that Android manufacturers are doing things right and offering a better experience for many consumers.

The phone has a display featuring Gorilla Glass 3, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 MP front camera.
