As per reports, Google’s smartwatch will be installed with a 1.65-inch display along with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixel. Moreover, it will reportedly boast an IPS LCD instead of an AMOLED.
It may also include 512MB or RAM and 4GB of internal storage capacity. Speculations are also there that it will be powered by Google’s Android operating system along with some modifications that Google is planning for its wearable gadget OS.

Popular Twitter account @evleaks has leaked thiese specifications.

"More Google (LG) smartwatch specs: 1.65" IPS LCD @ 280x280, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, processor TBD," tweeted evleaks.

Samsung recently unveiled the Gear 2 smartwatch, which runs on the Tizen operating system rather than Google's Android software, and a stripped-down version called Gear 2 Neo, which doesn't have a camera.

The devices can monitor the wearer's heart rate, a function used in increasingly popular health and fitness apps, or individual programs.

The Samsung Gear Fit has a heart rate monitor as does the Samsung Galaxy S5 itself. The Gear Fit has a curved touch-sensitive screen and its features include a pedometer, Samsung said.
