Google Maps with its vertical Street View feature will let users experience a first-person climb on both the The Nose and a portion of the Dawn Wall routes for scaling El Capitan, which is vertical rock formation in Yosemite National Park, California, USA.

Google partnered with legendary climbers Lynn Hill, Alex Honnold, and Tommy Caldwell to add Yosemite Valley's El Capitan to its Street View.

Earlier at I/O conference, Google announced that its Maps will now work with no Internet connection on Android devices. Google Maps will have an offline mode and users will be getting offline data for places along with chosen route, like reviews of locations and open hours. The users will also be getting turn-by-turn directions along the way. Offline Maps will be coming to users "later this year."

Another new update to Google Maps allows users to send places from the site to your iPhone as a push notification. The users can avail the service if they install Google Maps 4.7.0 (or above) from the App Store.
