Ranchi: The State government of Jharkahnd is planning to develop the syllabus of Jharkhand Public Service Commission in line with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The state government has directed the Commission officials to complete the process of syllabus development at the earliest.

This would attract the attention of candidates preparing for UPSC towards the state commission, which would help the JPSC in selecting relatively bright students.  The government plans to implement the course from next civil service exam.

The UPSC pattern would be followed in Preliminary and as well as Mains exams.
Following the direction given by the state government, the Personnel Department has instructed JPSC to start working in the same direction.

“State government has instructed JPSC to design the syllabus as per the UPSC pattern. The new syllabus would be implemented from the next civil service exam,” stated Aditya Swarup, general secretary, Personnel Department.
