New Delhi: The government of India has taken strong exception to Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik sharing dais with 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed.

The Centre is now mulling on revoking his passport after questioning him as soon as he returns to India. The development came after the demand of strong action against him was echoed by different sections of the society.

Earlier, Yasin Malik, held a day long fast in Islamabad to protest against Afzal’s hanging. During the fast, he was seen sharing dais with India’s most wanted and mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attacks Hafiz Saeed.

Malik while addressing the gathering appealed with the Pakistan government to take a call at the earliest about the fate of Sarabjit Singh who has been awarded death sentence by Pakistan court for plotting explosions in that country. Malik said that some people in Pakistan are demanding for early hanging of Sarabjit Singh. He asked the people not to clamour for that as it would also be akin to the treatment handed out to Afzal by India.
