Mehgaon (MP):  Union Minister of State for Power Jyotiraditya Scindia has accused the Madhya Pradesh government of not properly using funds provided by the Centre for the power sector.

"The power sector infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh is in a bad shape and power production has not increased even after the Centre allotted 30 percent more than the quota to the state," Scindia, a state minister with Independent charge told reporters here on Tuesday evening.

He had come to Mehgaon town in Bhind district to inaugurate a power sector reform scheme.

Scindia also said there was no truth in the state BJP government's allegation that the Centre was biased against it.

Anarchy and corruption were prevailing in the state even as "13 state ministers were under the scanner of the Lokayukta," he said.
