Bhopal: In order to take inspiration and motivation from former Prime Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party patriarch Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to put his picture in every government offices including 25,000 gram panchayats in the state.

Giving the former PM as his birthday present on December 25, the state government took the decision to start the drive on the same day itself. Soon, in this regard, directives would be issued.

In the Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister decided to start the drive and also celebrate December 25 as ‘Good Governance Day.’

The government spokesperson and State Health Minister Narottam Mishra said that Chief Minister as well as other minister expressed their displeasure over the ban on Bhagwad Gita in Russia. They urged the Central Government to put a pressure on the Russian government to lift the ban.

Meanwhile, the meeting took several other decisions including granting land on patta for housing purpose to the tribal people.
