Meanwhile, preparations are on 'full swing' to mark the first ever International Yoga Day and the main programme will be held at Rajpath. India will lead the world to celebrate the day, highlighted by a mega event here in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also mark his presence.

Also, the government is mulling to rope in celebrities from Bollywood and sports like Amitabh Bachchan and Virat Kohli to grace the event at Rajpath.

More than 40,000 people are expected to take part in the 'International Yoga Day' 35-minute event that will commence at 7 am on June 21. With the participation number, the AYUSH Ministry is considering to register the mega event into the Guinness Book of World Records.
