Srinagar: Miltants hurled a grenade at a police station in Zadibal area in the city tonight but no one was injured.

The blast, however, sparked panic among the locals, police said.

The ultras lobbed a grenade towards the Zadibal Police Station in the old city at around 2100 hrs, they said.

The grenade landed at the main gate of the police station and exploded but no one was injured nor any damage was caused.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.

This was the second grenade attack on a police station in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir in the past three days.

On Thursday night, militants carried out a similar attack on Khanyar Police Station.
