New Delhi: The BJP and the Congress on Monday will release their Manifestos for the Gujarat assembly elections scheduled for December 13 and 17. Both the parties are claiming to fulfill the promises to be made in their manifestos. While on one hand the ruling BJP in the state is giving priority to development of villages, the Congress is vowing to make available cheap homes for women.

Apart from this the BJP has assured to generate more employment and provide affordable homes to the people. It has also vowed to work for the development of the backward classes. On the other hand the Congress has spoken about enhancing the education system in the state and distributing laptops to the people.

Both the parties are campaigning in the state with full vigour .While on one hand senior BJP leader L K Advani has hailed Narendra Modi as a ‘role model of development,’ Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has compared Modi’s developmental work to that of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s. Chouhan further said that the the BJP’s government in Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat has taken development to new heights.
