Jaipur: The Gujjars who are demanding reservation in government jobs have postponed their proposed march to Jaipur in the wake of hospitalisation of their leader Kirori Singh Bainsla.

Bainsla was admitted to a private hospital in Jaipur following complaints of uneasiness.

“He (Bainsla) was supposed to join us in the march but he is still recovering at hospital and failed to come here. Therefore, we have postponed the march to the Pink City. We will restart the march once he is back,” a Gujjar leader said.

After the mahapanchayat held on November 20,  Bainsla had announced two-day sit-in in Bhandarej village and a march to Jaipur from there the next day if the government did not fulfill their demands for reservation in government jobs and withdrawal of cases against those involved in previous quota stirs.
