The show will witness a team of nine adventurers who will trek to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world -- Mount Everest. Selected through a series of adventure laden campouts from all across the country, these contestants will push their limits to trek to the Mount Everest base camp."It's not just a show as it showcases a journey that has been captured on camera. It's a trek to the base camp of world's highest mountain Mount Everest. The show has not been shot like other usual ones," said Gul.

"We have seen shows that have witnessed people climb the Everest, but they were mainly professionals. Also climbing it is not the same thing as trekking towards its base camp."'Kingfisher Blue Mile' is about giving a chance to common people from various parts of the country and they are not specialised climbers. It depicts triumph of the human spirit.
