Gurgaon: The report made by the BJP investigating team on alleged horse trading during the election of Mayor in Gurgaon civic polls has been sent to the party high command.

The complainant, a lady councilor, accused two BJP councillors of taking Rs 1.90 crore for buying five councillors who did not even vote for her.

Apart from the evidences of horse trading, tapes of phone calls were also contained during the investigation process.

The complainant who was inducted in the BJP just a day before elections said the BJP councillors had assured her of post of the Mayor and took Rs 1.90 crore from her.

Later, during a phone call, the MLAs said that claiming for Mayor post was worthless as it was understood that votes would not be cast in her favour.

The accused were questioned for five hours during the investigation. They have been asked to stay away from party politics till the report is confirmed.
