According to the inputs gathered by IB, Saeed, mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, could be planning yet another terror attack in India, especially in Delhi.

The intelligence agency has also written a letter to the Delhi Police about a specific threat to the capital following which New Delhi has been put on high alert. "We have received a letter from IB about a threat from a terrorist outfit ahead of August 15," Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) SN Srivastava said.

"Delhi has been put on high alert and security has been beefed up in markets, crowded places, high rise buildings and government offices following the alert," he said.

Notably, Saeed on Friday morning addressed huge Eid gathering at Lahore's famous Gaddafi stadium and also tweeted Eid greetings with a strong anti-India message. The event was advertised on posters all over the city, a media report said.

The Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief has a USD 10 million bounty on his head by the US. Saeed, one of India's most wanted terrorists, had earlier this year claimed that he is free to move around Pakistan as a common man. He had said he roams freely as his fate is in the hands of god and not America.
