Haridwar: Yoga guru and crusader against corruption Baba Ramdev has again hit the headlines by stating that India’s Independence is sort of cheating because people still do not feel fully independent as scores of laws made during the British Raj are in practice to date.

Advocating for framing own laws in Independent India, Baba has announced to launch campaign to make people aware across the nation in this regard and produce ‘Swadeshi Patanjali Salt’ as a symbolic protest against the British Law that is still prevailing in the country.

“This product of Patanjali Ayurveda Limited would be hundred percent swadeshi," he said

Addressing yoga trainers in Patanjali Yogpeeth, Ramdev said, “India’s Independence that we got in 1947 is incomplete as we are still following the British laws.”

He urged people to raise their voice against the prevailing British laws and make new set of laws.

It is believed that the draft of the nation-wide awareness campaign which would be launched in protest against the prevailing British laws would be decided at Manthan Sivir on August 9. IAS, IPS, social activists, educationists, and jurists have been invited to take part in the camp.
