Born on December 9, 1945, Shatrughan Sinha went to Mumbai to follow his dream, after passing out from FTII (Pune).

Soon after coming to Mumbai, Shatrughan has enthralled Bollywood audiences with his debut as a Pakistani military officer in Dev Anand’s Prem Pujari (1970).

He made his mark with this movie and soon succeeded in making his presence felt in Bollywood with films like Gulzar’s Mere Apne.

With hits like Dost, Kalicharan, Rampur Ka Laxman, Bhai Ho To Aisa and Heera, he established himself as one of the most south-after stars of Bollywod.

A great actor and orator, Shatrughan Sinha entered politics and joined BJP. Within no time he became the star campaigner of BJP.

His last movie Rakta Charitra was released in 2010 directed by Ram Gopal Varma in which he was seen in a clean-shaved avatar for the first time.

He also tried his luck on television and hosted the Bhojpuri version of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati on Mahuaa TV channel.

A great actor, a politician and a doting father of two, Shatrughan Sinha has played every role with much aplomb. Though there is no report about Shatrughan’s birthday bash but reportedly his daughter Sonkashi Sinha who was seen in   R…Rajkumar opposite Shahid Kapoor, says she hopes to gift the film as a birthday present to her father.

Flamboyance might have taken some people down but it helped Shatrughan Sinha scale new heights. Hailing from Bihar, he was confident and determined to make it big on silver screen. It was this attitude which helped Shatrughan Sinha become 'Shotgun.' Wish Shatrughan Sinha a very happy birthday.
