Jalandhar: In a bid to connect to the youth in the upcoming assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha national president and MP, Anurag Thakur said that the party is keen on giving chance to dynamic and hard working youth in the elections.

During his visit to Jalandhar, the Hamirpur MP said, “The party is also looking for hard working party workers who are working for the society. In forthcoming elections, the party would surely give chance to such leaders.”

The youth leader praised the enthusiasm of young party workers in Punjab. Talking about the youth participation in the party, Thakur said, “We are already having a young MLA and Mayor Rakesh Rathod is also a young leader.”

Not missing out on the chance, Thakur lashed out at the Centre.

He said, “Thousands of farmers are committing suicide because of government policies. The government is dipped in scams and the rift between two of their ministers have come up in open.”

The public is severely affected by inflation, he added.
