*Born on October 11, 1993 in Choryasi, Gujarat, Padya plays for Baroda cricket team in domestic cricket.

*The all-rounder first time made headlines when he played key role  in Baroda's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy triumph in 2013-14.

*The right-arm medium-pacer grabbed selectors attention when he hit 21 runs of just 8 balls against  CSK while playing for MumbaiIndians in IPL 2015.


*Pandya fired eight sixes during his unbeaten 86 to guide Baroda cricket team to a six-wicket win over Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January 2016.


*The cricketer made his Twenty20 International debut for India on January 26, 2016 and he claimed two wickets in the same match.

*In high voltage clash against arch rival Pakistan in ongoing Asia Cup, Pandya rose to the occasion and picked three wickets - giving away just 8 runs.
