Reportedly, Harsha himself doesn't know the reason behind his sudden ouster and feels it could be because of dissatisfaction of some senior players with his style of commentary during the recently concluded Asia Cup T20 and World Cup T20.

Some analysts believe that his heated verbal exchange with officials of Vidarbha Cricket Association in Jamtha, Nagpur could be the reason for BCCI showing Bhogle the door.

It is worth recalling that Indian commentators drew a lot of flak from several quarters for talking too much in favour of foreign cricketers in the recently concluded World T20.

In this connection, Amitabh Bachchan, who is an avid follower of the game recently took to twitter and said, “With all due respect, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time”. India's limited-overs captain MS Dhoni re-tweeted the tweet, adding, “Nothing to add”!

Though he later clarified that his tweet was not aimed at any individual or individuals.

Whatever may be the reason, Harsha Bhogle's absence will surely make Indian Premier League a dull affair, what with his inimitable, power packed pleasant decibel narration.
