Chandigarh: Haryana on Saturday joined the nation in celebrating the 64th Republic day amidst tight security arrangements.

Haryana Governor Jagannath Pahadia unfurled the tri-colour at Faridabad, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda took salute at Rewari.
In Chandigarh, K K Sharma, Adviser to the Administrator, unfurled the tri-colour and took the salute.
The functions to mark the Republic Day were organised at other district headquarters in Haryana including Ambala, Gurgaon, Karnal, Rohtak and Hisar.
Tight security arrangements had been put in place in the state and Chandigarh to ensure that the Republic Day celebrations pass off peacefully.
