Chandigarh: A two-member team from Singapore on Monday met Haryana Chief Secretary P K Chaudhery to discuss water-related issues pertaining to the Manesar Bawal Investment Region (MBIR) area of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) Project.
The team comprised Chief Executive Officer from Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, Wy Mun Kong, and Vice President CH2M HILL Singapore, Vinod Singh, an official release said.

The representatives of Singapore Public Utility Board, Wah Yuen Leong and Stephen Geoffrey, also joined the meeting through video conferencing.
Among the objectives of the team's visit is the introduction of the Singapore water settings, including recycle and reuse concepts, and gaining an understanding of the existing water situation in the DMIC Region of Haryana.
Later in the day, the team held detailed meetings with HSIIDC, Departments of Irrigation, Agriculture, Public Health and Engineering to collect data to help develop a proposal for technical cooperation between Singapore, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC) and Haryana Government.
This will also aid the strategy for potential water sources development in Manesar Balwal Investment Region, the release said. The team would be meeting with the Managing Director of DMICDC at Delhi on Tuesday and would also visit MBIR.
