Chandigarh: Haryana government has issued guidelines for giving reservation to physically disabled persons in state government jobs.

Under the rules, physically disabled people will get three percent reservation in state government’s direct recruitment to Group A, B, C and D posts of which one percent each would be reserved for persons suffering from blindness or low vision, hearing impairment and or cerebral palsy.

 Also, exemption in cost of application and examination fee for Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) will be given to the disabled persons.

The guidelines also stated that only those persons would be eligible for reservation in state government jobs having not less than 40 percent of disability.
Medical board constituted by state government will issue Disability Certificate.
