Chandigarh: The Haryana Government on Tuesday said it will release before Diwali the first installment of 40 percent of the pending salary arrears of employees’ central co-operative banks after implementing the Sixth Pay Commission.

This would benefit 4,864 employees of State Central Cooperative Banks with Rs 61.63 crore apart from about 4,500 employees of Haryana Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies.      

Therefore, about 8,500 employees would be benefited with more the Rs 150 crore, an official spokesman said on Tuesday.
