Gurgaon: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the state police force would be bolstering its armada by recruiting 11,000 constables.
The number of women police personnel will also be increased by 10 percent and about 1,500 more will be recruited soon, Hooda said at the passing out parade of the 7th batch of recruits at Recruitment Training Centre (RTC) Bhondsi, Gurgaon.
674 recruits were administered oath of devotion to duty and prizes were also given to them for their outstanding performance during training.
Hooda said he wants Haryana Police Force to be the best in the country and this can only be possible, when the personnel will increase their efficiency and win people's hearts.
Besides taking steps for safety of weaker sections, government has taken a number of measures for controlling crime against women, Hooda said.
