Justice Sunil Gaur also reserved order on the former chief minister's application against the decision of the AAP government to withdraw the plea. The court said it will pass its order at 4 pm on Wednesday.

Dikshit, seeking impalement in the case, objected to Kejriwal government's move to withdraw the plea which was filed by her then government.

The Dikshit government had approached the high court last year seeking quashing of a trial court order for ordering a First Information Report against her. The high court had stayed the registration of the FIR.

Arvind Kejriwal, hours before his resignation as Delhi chief minister on February 14th, moved the high court saying the cabinet had decided that it did not have the locus standing to defend Dikshit.

The special court on August  31st last year had directed Delhi Police to register an FIR against Dikshit on the complaint of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijender Gupta and a similar plea of Right to Information activist Vivek Garg, alleging that Dikshit had misused Rs 22.56 crore in government funds in an advertisement campaign prior to the 2008 polls.
