The new 110 cc upgrade to its elder sibling the Splendor iSmart was spotted recently at a dealership, unmistakably announcing its arrival soon. The launch of the Hero Splendor iSmart 110 is scheduled on July 14, 2016.
The Splendor iSmart 110 gets the much coveted i3S Technology that enables the Start-Stop system. In the world where fuel efficiency is the most desired feature, the Start-stop function turns off the engine, when the vehicle is stationary or in neutral.

The technology is not new to the Splendor iSmart 110, as it previously debuted in the Splendor iSmart 100 cc, the predecessor to the 110 cc version.
Retaining the same chassis and the silhouette, the decals and the body paint seem more attractive than its 100 cc elder sibling. The paint looks more metallic, subtle, subtly glossy and neon-ized, unlike the simple and bland look of its 100 cc counterpart.
The Splendor iSmart 110 will have a 110 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, delivering a slightly tuned up 9.1 PS of power and 9 Nm of torque output from the previous. With this, the fuel efficiency will be the USP of the iSmart 110, which is currently claimed by the manufacturers to deliver around 80 kmpl.

The ex-showroom price will be around the Rs. 55,000 mark. The TVS Victor, Yamaha Saluto RX and the Honda Liva will all be competitors to the new Splendor iSmart 110.
The Splendor iSmart 110 is expected to match the caliber of the Hero Honda Splendor that had the unflinching decades’ long marathon success.
