  • Those who think for the country and work for its development have been given a platform to participate through Mygov.in.
  • Our PM calls himself Pradhan Sevak and that reflects the people centric change in governance.

Here are a few features of the mega event:

  • A new PMO app would be launched which would directly link the mobile subscribers to the Prime Minister’s website
  • The Town Hall has been organised on the occasion of the second anniversary of the platform mygov that connects the government and the people
  • The Town Hall will feature many panel discussions and sessions based on the mygov theme ‘do, discuss, and disseminate’
  • In the end, the Prime Minister will address the people on the lines of a Town Hall. PM Modi will talk to a selected audience who have been regular on mygov portal and have been regularly sharing their ideas, participating actively on the website, and sharing questions and suggestions.
  • Town Hall was inaugurated by Ravi Shankar Rrasad and would consist of four sessions
  • First session ‘Do’ would feature design innovation and e-greetings competitions
  • Second session ‘Discuss’ would feature concentrated discussion between the partners on mygov based on pioneering ideas and experiences
  • Third session would invite new and innovative ideas from the panel of social media representatives to enhance consumer experience and add new features to the platform
  • By launching mygov website, the government has provided an easy resource to the common people where they can share all their problems with the prime Minister and update themselves with the schemes launched by the government
  • More than 35 lakh people have registered on this app in a short span of 2 years  
  • PM Modi will join the proceedings at 5 pm.
