The situations which Mahabir and Veera encounter during their journey form rest of the story.

Movie review: Director Imtiaz Ali, who is famous for making movies which are out of the league, knows very well how to get his actors fit into their characters.

After doing a glamorous role in ‘Student Of The Year’, Ali looks extremely different in this movie. Imtiaz has used her freshness and innocent with much aplomb. Randeep Hooda also looks convincing in his character.
The Oscar winning team of Jai Ho - AR Rahman, Resul Pookutty, Amrit Pritam churn out some soulful music for Imtiaz Ali's road movie.

No matter how many times you listen to Nooran sisters rendered Patakha Guddi, you can't help but hum along to the tune. For a surprise, Alia has crooned a song for Highway. Composer AR Rahman has made Alia Bhatt sing to the song ‘Soona sa’.

Highway will not give you an adrenaline rush but a serene feeling that stays with you long after the film is over. This movie would be a good option to enjoy this weekend with your family and friends.
