Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said the registration fee of dentists has been raised from Rs 1000 to Rs 2000.
     
He said that a separate campus would be developed in the periphery of Shimla town for shifting the Government Dental College from its present congested location at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGNC).
     
“The state government is committed to providing basic health infrastructure in most remote and backward areas of the state for delivering basic health services and present facilities and infrastructure of the Dental College would be strengthened and expanded after it was shifted to new campus”,
Singh said.
     
He was presiding over the inaugural function of the two-day 12th Annual Dental Conference being organized by the Himachal Chapter of Indian Dental Association at Sundernagar in Mandi district.
