Gurgaon: Ecstatic after winning the DLF Masters, Himmat Singh Rai on Saturday set his sights on the Indian Open scheduled to be held at the Delhi Golf Club from October 13 to 16.

"I will be playing Iskandar Johor Open and a couple of co-sanctioned events. After that I will decide if I will play in the final stages of European Tour qualifying. As of now, the next is Indian Open. I want to do well there," said Himmat, who emerged victorious with a one-stroke lead at the DLF Golf and Country club.

The 24-year-old Himmat also said he will take a call on Bilt Open later this month.

"I am scheduled to play Bilt Open but I will take a call later as it depends on my Asian Tour events, probably at that time there is also the Mercuries Taiwan Masters in that week next month. So I will take a call later," he said.

He said his focus will be to keep fit and win as many tournaments as possible.

"I am looking to play more such events and put my mind on training, stay fit and win," he said.

Himmat had won his maiden Asian Tour title when he clinched the ISPC Handa Classic in an enthralling five-way playoff in Singapore last month.
