As per market reports, this new variant of Accord will be assembled in India. Accord Hybrid is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 30 lakh, which is six-seven lakhs more than the current model.  The Accord Hybrid has got the ability to run either on electric power or on petrol power or a combination of both.

Honda has done a lot of development in this vehicle and it will likely be much fuel efficient. It will also include a lot of luxury and comfort features in it.

Earlier this month, Honda had discontinued the production of its flagship sedan Accord in the country. The decision was taken keeping in mind the weak demand and dwindling sales, as per a company official.

As per market reports, Honda managed to sell only 272 units of the sedan in India in the past eight months. The company has not been able to maintain its pace in the bigger cars segment of late keeping in mind the fierce competition that it is facing from other carmakers.
