As per the sources, the automobile giant is planning to introduce its first ever diesel car in India around 25 November.

Despite having installed with a petrol engine, Honda City is one of the most successful medium range cars in India since its launch in 1996.

As per the reports, the pre-booking for the sedan is on with an amount of Rs 50,000. The ex-showroom price of the sedan is estimated to be around Rs 8 lakh.

If sources are to be believed, the sedan will have an option of automatic transmission and will be powered with 6–8 variants of 1.5 i-DTEC diesel as well as i-VTEC petrol engines. Moreover, its fuel tank capacity will be 43 litres. This will be an efficient car for the customers as it will give a mileage of 16 kmpl (highway) and 14 kmpl (city).
