The sports motorcycle has been designed and manufactured basis the light weight Super Sports concept which was demonstrated by Honda in the Motor Show held in Tokyo in the year 2015. The bike is aesthetically designed in such a way that is has aggressive body lines, split seats and a tall wind screen. It is more of a dampened down version of the Super Sports concept, which is also evident from the matte black finish as well.

The design characteristics of the sports bike bear resemblance to prototypes which is specific to CBR – LED headlights with DRL and a tail lamp. The entire instrument cluster is digitized and the vehicle has a dual exhaust as well.

The Honda CBR250RR has a capacity of 250 cc with an 8 valve DOHC engine which is liquid cooled. There has been no official information provided by Honda on the power throttle of the engine or the torque produced – however, the engine mechanism would be based on Throttle-by-system mechanism.

This means that the bike would enable three riding modes – each mode having distinct characteristics as per the convenience of the rider. The bike also has an inverted fork suspension in the foreside, and a pro-link suspension at the rear end. The braking system consists of 240 mm at the rear disc and 310 mm at the front.

Given the prospects, Honda CBR250RR would go hand in hand with the likes of Yamaha YZF- R25 and Kawasaki Ninja 250 internationally.
