Adampur (Hisar):  For the development projects of Adampur region, Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda announced a special package of Rs 10 crore. In an effort to improve the medical facilities at Adampur government hospital, the CM has approved 30 additional beds for the hospital.

He also assured the people to launch a scheme to improve the water supply to farmers for irrigation. In a veiled attack on former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, Hooda held him responsible for the problems being faced by people in the region. 

Addressing a public rally, Hooda said, “Though Rs 5 crore has been given to other assembly areas for the development projects, but in wake of the poor condition of roads in the Adampur area, I have sanctioned Rs 10 crore for Adampur assembly segment.”

Taking a swipe on Bhajanlal, he said, “Despite ruling for so many years, he did not initiate any major effort for the betterment of villages and farmers.”

Attacking the opposition party Indian National Lok Dal, he said, “The party failed to carry out any development work at Adampur.”

Giving comparative details in respect of the development of Adampur, he said, “The INLD government spent only Rs 406 crore for development work in Hisar while Congress government has utilized Rs 1332 crore for development work so far.”

Adding to the fact, he said the INLD government could spend only Rs 43.74 crore while Congress has already spent Rs 246 crore for the sake of development.

During his speech, All India Congress Committee General Secretary BK Hariprasad put forth the political polices of the Congress-led Union government. He termed Sunday as ‘historical’ day for Adampur.
