The launch is in line with HP's earlier announcement that it would introduce a full-HD display Chromebook soon.

The new HP Chromebook 14-x050nr features a 14-inch full-HD WLED-backlit touchscreen display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution and comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM. It  sports 32GB of internal storage.

It is powered by a Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and Nvidia Kepler GPU. Connectivity options on the device include USB 3.0, HDMI port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
