New Delhi: Looking at the high scope of e-content and e-study material, the Union Government is planning to launch an easy and interesting means of study material for students across the country.

The Government plans to post videos of class lectures of best teachers from well known Universities on its website. The decision aims at making it easier for students across the country to attend lectures of best teachers even without being physically present in the classroom.

The HRD Ministry is already in talks with Universities across the country.

The Government will sign the agreement with the teachers of related subjects, stated the senior officials of the Ministry. The teachers will be paid Rs 1,000 extra for this service.

As per the agreement, the video of entire semester classes will be video graphed. The video recordings will be posted as a web class on the government official site for students called ‘Sakshat’.
