Mumbai: Making his debut as a dance reality show judge, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is the highest paid film star on small screen.

The reality show ‘Just Dance’ will go on air in April on Star Plus. Roshan along with choreographers Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant will judge contestants.

The actor hopes for a successful stint on the small screen after his recent movies ‘Kites’ and ‘Guzaarish’ did not do well at the box office.

"Only after the biggest failure comes the biggest success," Hrithik had said at the launch last month.

Handling reports that he is being paid around Rs 2 crore per episode, he said, “I thought I am paid well." However, sources close to the star claim that he is indeed the highest paid actor on television.

"He gets Rs 2 crore per episode. Whereas Salman Khan shot for his last TV show only during the weekends and would wrap up two episodes in a single day and take home a pay packet of Rs 2.5 crore," sources said.
