This new update will be available ‘over-the-air’, according to the company which made the announcement on its HTC India Facebook page. The facebook feed said that users could verify if the update was available on for their phones, checking it from the next path: Settings > About > Software Updates > Check now.

The update brings with it an array of new features such as BlinkFeed homescreen, new gallery, camera apps, automatic video highlights and improved battery endurance. It also comes with with lock-screen widgets, quick settings panel, various bug fixes optimizations and more.

Recently, HTC Butterfly received Android 4.2.2 update in India, through over-the-air update, along with Daydream screensaver, video highlights slide show function etc.
