BoomBass is a 3.0+EDR speaker that connects to the smartphone over NFC. Packed with a 1,200 mAh internal battery, the device promises nine hours of playback and can be charged with an USB cable.
The company may launch the product by October but the price is yet to be disclosed. HTC has also introduced two new smartphones in the market, HTC Desire 601 which is a part of its mid-range series and HTC Desire 300 an entry level smartphone.
HTC Desire 601 sports a 4.5 inch qHD display with 540 X 960 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. It features a 5 mega-pixel rear camera and VGA front camera, accompanied with add-ons such as Sequence shot, Always Smile, Object Removal and HTC Zoe. Desire 601 comes with an 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 64 GB using a micro SD card.
The smartphone also harbours a 2100 mAm battery with a talk-time of 13 hours. HTC Desire 300 sports a 4.3 inch WVGA display. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM. It features a 5 mega-pixel rear camera and VGA front camera. Desire 300 comes with a 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 64 GB using a micro SD card. The smartphone also harbours a 1650 mAm battery with a talk-time of 11 hours.
