New Delhi: Taiwanese manufacturer HTC has listed its Butterfly S smartphone on the company’s official website for India. The smartphone is now expected to hit the Indian markets soon.

The company had announced its latest Butterfly S smartphone in June 2013, but at that time it was only for the Taiwanese market. The company is yet to reveal price of the smartphone.

The all new HTC Butterfly S sports a 5.0-inch Super LCD 3 display with a pixel density of 440PPIs. The phone runs on 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and comes with 2GB RAM. This device has 16GB internal memory and can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD cards. HTC also offers 25GB of free Dropbox storage with the phone.

The latest smartphone by HTC comes with 4MP UltraPixel camera with the Zoe camera software feature with LED flash. The rear camera also supports full-HD video recording. The device has 2.1MP front camera with an 88 degree wide-angle lens.

Connectivity options in the phone include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC and it runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), topped with the manufacturer's proprietary Sense user interface. The Butterfly S smartphone has a 3,200mAh battery that the company claims would deliver 29 hours of talk time and 544 hours of standby time.
