The HTC Desire 826 features 5.5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The handset runs on Android OS, v5.0.1 (Lollipop). Along with this, it is clocked at Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 chipset paired with octa-core CPU, with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and another four only going up to 1 GHz which is complimented by 2GB RAM.

It gets 13-megapixel camera on the rear surface with LED flash and a 4-megapixel camera on the front surface. The body of the device carries non-removable Li-Po 2600 mAh battery for long lasting usage. On the connectivity front, the device is blessed with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and hotspot.

The HTC Desire 826 embraces 16GB internal storage capacity which can be expandable up to 128 GB. The HTC Desire is up for grabs in India and the company will subsequently launch the Desire member in other countries as well.
