The phone was originally introduced in October but the company had not disclosed the price of the device. Now, the price has been revealed on Twitter by a trusted source.

Mumbai-based retailer Manish Khatri took to Twitter to announce that HTC Desire Eye smartphone will cost Rs 35,990. The retailer also claimed that the phone will now be available for purchase.

The selfie focussed phone comes with a 13 megapixel rear and front camera. The front snapper comes with an aperture of 2.2mm front shooter, which includes a BSI sensor, 22mm wide-angle lens, full HD recording and auto-focus support.

The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display and 1080p screen. Powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, the phone is coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

It comes with an onboard storage of 16 GB and supports an expandable memory of 12 GB via microSD card.
