According to HTC, as the update is being released over-the-air (OTA), the users will automatically get a notification on their smartphone to install the update. For updating the HTC One, all you need is a Wi-Fi or a 3G connection. The users can also manually check the update by going to Settings > About > Software Updates > Check now.

Currently, only single-SIM version of the phone would be getting the update. However, Android 4.3 for the dual-SIM version will be available on later.

With the new OS, the users can expect to see improvements to HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe, Sense TV, Video Highlights, HTC Share, Quick Settings and other enhancements on their phones. Moreover, following updation, HTC One users will become eligible to get 25GB of free Google Drive storage, which is coupled with already free 15GB of storage, hence amounting to a total Google Drive storage of 40GB.
